Setel and Siti Khadijah supported 98 charity homes and orphanages with telekung worth RM100,000 via joint Setulus Kasih initiative

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 July 2022 – Setel and Siti Khadijah have completed their joint initiative, Setulus Kasih – supported by logistics partner Setel Express, to donate RM100,000 worth of telekung to 98 charity homes and orphanages for single mothers, women as well as girls in need.

Faizal Sulaiman, Chief Executive Officer of Setel Express said, “We are humbled by the wonderful support we received for the Setulus Kasih initiative and are equally grateful to have been a part of this joint effort between Setel and Siti Khadijah to give back to underprivileged communities. With Setel Express as the delivery partner, we were able to exemplify the quality of our service in a way that is meaningful by delivering joy to these charity homes and orphanages across the country. It is our hope to continue to provide seamless and reliable delivery services to our customers nationwide as part of the overall Setel ecosystem offering to our merchant partners and end consumers.”

The efficient delivery of our telekung via Setel Express to the four charity homes/NGOs have exemplified the quality of their service, which we are confident have been serving our customers for the delivery of their Siti Khadijah purchases very well too.”

Setulus Kasih

The four main benefiting charity homes/organisations of the Setulus Kasih initiative are Pusat Bimbingan Remaja Puteri Raudhatus Sakinah, Rumah Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Al Hijrah, Kompleks Darul Kifayah, as well as Yayasan Kebajikan Muslim (also known as MyFundAction) which manages 95 charity homes under its organisation.

In attendance at the handover ceremony to MyFundAction on 9th June were Faizal Sulaiman, Chief Executive Officer of Setel Express; Mohammad Munzir Aminuddin, Group Chief Executive Officer of Siti Khadijah; as well as Suraiya Jabarudin, Public Relations (Corporate) Officer, and Zulkifli Baharuddin, Public Relations (Media) Officer – both of MyFundAction.
