Healthy, balanced eating starts from the home plate (or bowl!)
Every balanced meal prepared reflects love and care for the family. Premised on this, MAGGI® introduced its ‘Sajian Seimbang Tanda Sayang’ (A Balanced Bowl is a Serving of Love) campaign to advocate balanced eating amongst Malaysians, as well as celebrating a mother’s culinary inventiveness in preparation of healthier meals for her family.
The campaign is inspired by the Malaysian Healthy Plate (MHP) guide by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, which provides a visual guide to help individuals plan a balanced meal, based on the ‘Suku-Suku Separuh’ concept. This concept divides a meal into 3 sections, with:
- 1/4 of the plate to be filled with carbohydrate sources (e.g. rice, noodles, bread or cereal)
- 1/4 of the plate to be filled with protein sources (e.g. egg, tofu, meat or seafood)
- 1/2 of the plate filled with vegetables and fruits
To achieve a balanced bowl of MAGGI® 2-Minute Noodles, pair the noodles with your choice of vegetables and protein in accordance with the ‘Suku-Suku Separuh’ concept, for a tasty and balanced bowl!
Below are examples of a balanced meal with MAGGI® 2-Minute Noodles, to cater to different individuals and/or family members!
