Vietjet launches two new India routes direct from Phu Quoc to New Delhi and Mumbai

Kuala Lumpur, 13 September 2022 – Two more new Vietnam-India routes connecting beautiful Phu Quoc Island with bustling cities New Delhi and Mumbai were launched last weekend by the world’s best top 10 low-cost airline, Vietjet.

The maiden flight between Vietnam’s paradise island and the largest city in India – Mumbai, took off on September 8 with two return flights weekly. The Phu Quoc-New Delhi route on the other hand, took flight for the first time ever on September 9, offering three return flights weekly.

Following this, Vietjet now operates the most flights between Vietnam and India, with 6 direct routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc to New Delhi and Mumbai. This further expands the airline’s India footprints to 17 direct routes, to be launched in phases by year’s end. The 17 routes will connect Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Phu Quoc with five of India’s largest cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
