- I-Berhad, the developer behind Malaysia’s No. 1 Technology City in Shah Alam, i-City, has joined forces with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for a RM820 million GDV luxury condominium development in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). The 50-storey luxury residences at Zone 1 KLCC will now be known as Wyndham Suites KLCC.
- Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, renowned globally for its “Count on Me” service culture and 5-star hospitality, boasts a portfolio of approximately 9,100 hotels spanning over 95 countries, offering world-class comfort to guests. Their loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards, with over 103 million members, provides access to a diverse global clientele.
- This partnership signifies a significant leap forward for I-Berhad, its brand reputation and visibility. Wyndham’s vast global network will serve as a powerful platform for its RM10 billion GDV project in i-City Shah Alam, providing greater international exposure.
- Between November this year and January next year, i-City is set to launch the “One Shah Alam, One Destination” program, an RM10 million investment in enhanced lightscapes, immersive edutainment experiences, and community engagement events. Highlights include a 5D Immersive Winterland and a 50,000 sqft indoor digital sports arena. This collaboration not only adds prestige and appeal to i-City’s developments but also aligns with the Group’s broader vision of creating a destination-oriented ecosystem, promoting growth and vibrancy in both locations. It’s a dynamic urban experience that draws in more businesses, residents, and visitors.
