Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong is turning up the volume this summer with CANTON BEATS, a retro Cantopop DJ water party that will headline the park’s Beat The Summer celebration from 4 July to 31 August 2026. Running on selected weekend evenings, the programme blends poolside energy, nostalgic Hong Kong music culture and night-time party visuals into what the park is calling its biggest retro Cantopop water event to date.
Weekend nights at Horizon Cove
CANTON BEATS will take over Manulife presents: Horizon Cove on selected Saturday and Sunday evenings, transforming the waterfront zone into a live DJ party with nostalgic Cantopop remixes, upbeat dance tracks and immersive lighting effects. The concept leans into a 1980s-inspired Hong Kong mood, giving guests a different after-dark experience once the day’s water attractions wind down.
By day, visitors can still enjoy Water World’s indoor and outdoor attractions. By night, the park shifts into a more festive summer mode, mixing music, lights and a social atmosphere by the coast. Set along Hong Kong’s Southern District shoreline, the event is designed as both a themed party and a seasonal travel draw for visitors looking for something more distinctive than a standard water park outing.
International guest DJ line-up
The first four event nights will feature international guest DJs, starting with South Korea’s DJ Sura on 4 July, followed by Malaysia’s DJ Amber Na on 5 July, DJ KIXON from Mainland China on 11 July and South Korea’s DJ SunB on 12 July. Water World says the line-up is meant to pair international club energy with the familiar pull of classic Cantopop anthems and remixes.
