Kuala Lumpur, July 4, 2022 – Visiting two culturally rich countries in one holiday is now made possible thanks to Vietjet’s newly launched flights from Hanoi to Fukuoka or Nagoya, Japan. Travelers from Malaysia now have a new flight option to choose from and can even squeeze in a visit to beautiful Hanoi while transiting to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Launched on July 2, the Hanoi-Fukuoka route operates thrice weekly every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while the Hanoi-Nagoya route operates four times weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Both routes are about five-hour long journeys and these new routes are aimed at providing travelers with a more convenient way to travel between Vietnam and Japan. These flights are also aimed at benefiting travelers from other Southeast Asian and Northeast Asian regions.
As the maiden flight took off, all passengers abroad Vietjet’s inaugural flight were warmly welcomed with a splashing water canon ceremony and gifted with souvenirs and flowers at the Japan airport.
Aside from flights into Fukuoka and Nagoya, Vietjet also operates direct flights between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo (Narita)/Osaka with a daily return flight for each route. Meanwhile, the popular Tokyo (Haneda) – Da Nang route will be re-launched this September with a frequency of four times weekly. With the new and existing routes combined, Vietjet now offers seven flight services to Japan and is also regarded as one of the top flight capacity providers between the two countries.
