The Stockroom also lets customers evoke the sensory elements of The Slate, with a collection of blissful bathroom products and essential oils. The fragrance of white champaka was personally selected by The Slate’s owner, Krystal Prakaikaew Na-Ranong (or Khun Moo, as she is better known), to be the property’s signature scent. The oil of this native tree has been incorporated into a wide range of bathroom amenities that are now on sale online, including shampoo, shower gel, room spray, after sun oil, body spray and more.

White champaka trees grow within the grounds of The Slate and the oils are harvested and produced locally, ensuring that the benefits of The Stockroom filter down to the community. Their aromas are also believed to have health benefits, helping to combat dizziness, fever and nausea, among other ailments.
