Singapore, 15 March 2023 – Having been over three years since her last charter, It’s The Ship – Asia’s Largest Festival at Sea returning with over 77 acts and 3500 shipmates has come to an end after three days of non-stop partying aboard the majestic 19-deck Genting Dream Cruise. The highly anticipated festival, home to over 22k Shipmates, sold out in just weeks after its ticket release.
Helming the 7th edition of the ship this year was Captain Aunty Sima from Netflix’s hit series, Indian Matchmaking – over 100 shipmates raffled to join her speed dating session with the hopes of looking for love on the high seas. Ravers partied from sunrise to sundown with some of the world’s biggest DJs and artists, including headliners VINI VICI, KID INK, MADDIX, LIU, and HUGEL who delivered unforgettable performances that had the crowd partying on deck until the early hours of the morning, talk about EAT! SLEEP! RAVE! REPEAT!
In true Livescape fashion, no space was left unturned with It’s The Ship transforming recreational spaces into thrilling pop-up activities including the classic Foam Party with Hugel, RIMKA, and Roshan where shipmates had fun in the sun, bumping to afrobeats on deck, 3N3 Basketball with Kid – Ink and Cocktail Mixing with Ms. PuiYi.
As night fell, a lusty lace and leather themed Sleepless Society was headlined by DJs Nakadia and XU where festival goers ditched their festival fits and rocked up with their most sultry looks to let their inner vixen sail high. If that wasn’t enough, Livescape introduced a series of brand-new themed parties like Under The Seafreaks, One Nauti Neon, Disco Diaries, and Rave Cave, there was definitely something for every shipmate.
Shipmates lined up for exclusive Artist Meet & Greet sessions, laughed-out-loud at the titilating KAM-ASUTRA, a comedy show hosted by Malaysia’s top female comedian, Joanne Kam, the competitive Mini Golf with Maddix, PRADAA, and Ramengvrl, while men lined up for a free haircut courtesy of Auchentoshan. A little yin to the yang meant guests were also treated to indulging wellness activities with sound baths, yoga, and HIIT galore.
Duckdrop – It’s The Ship’s premium membership powered by blockchain technology also saw its first It’s The Ship experience allowing members to experience exclusivity like no other such as seeing artists they voted for performing at theme parties they named. DuckHolders were surprised with invitations to private parties, Jacuzzi access to watch the sunrise, pre-debauchery dinner with the artists and many more. As the cruise came to an end, Duckholders celebrated their newfound community and celebrated their very first It’s The Ship together.
