KUALA LUMPUR, 09 FEBRUARY 2023 — It was a lucky start to the new year for an anesthesiologist and his family when he was named the grand prize winner of the ‘MR D.I.Y. & MR. DOLLAR x P&G ‘Beli & Menang’ contest.
Dr. Samsul Faizal Bin Samsuddin, 39, who works at Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor, took home a brand new Perodua Alza 1.5L X.
Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony for the contest jointly organised by Malaysia’s largest home improvement retailer MR D.I.Y and consumer goods company Procter & Gamble Sdn Bhd [P&G], the excited winner, who was accompanied by his family of six, said,
“It’s a dream come true! My family and I have been wishing for a bigger car, and we had plans to purchase a seven-seater. Winning this contest feels surreal. Thank you to the contest organisers for making our family road trips more comfortable – we can’t wait to hit the road!”
The prize-giving ceremony for the contest’s Grand and Second Prize winners was recently held at MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
Speaking at the event, MR D.I.Y. The MR. D.I.Y. & MR. DOLLAR x P&G ‘Beli & Menang’ contest saw 654 lucky customers walk away with prizes worth more than RM100,000. In addition to the Grand Prize of a brand new Perodua Alza 1.5LX, three winners also took home iPhone 14 Pro 128GBs as the second prize, and RM50 MR D.I.Y. and/or MR. DOLLAR cash vouchers as consolation prizes.
