Maxim E-hailing Celebrates Independence Day With Children from Orphanages

On Independence Day, Maxim E-hailing representatives visited more than 14 orphanages throughout Malaysia to celebrate this important date for our country with children. The Maxim team provided them with much-needed goods and attention, which brought a lot of smiles to the kids’ faces.

Maxim drivers and employees spent half of the day playing with orphans. In total, more than 300 children got the opportunity to feel the joyful and happy vibe of this important date for our country. Moreover, Maxim prepared gifts for each of them. The presents were composed based on the requests from the management of orphanages and included food supplies, stationery kits, books, and electronic equipment.

The Easy Pages typography, one of the companies that collaborates with Maxim, also took part in the events and made sure the program becomes even more exciting. The director of the company, Mr. Kumalesan, shared that he was, “so glad to be a part of the charity program and be able to share the happiness with the orphanage.”

Excitement can be seen on the faces of the kids during the session activities. A giant custom Snakes and Ladders board brought exuberance, especially the game between orphans and the management of Maxim. In addition, the representatives of Maxim also shared knowledge about road safety, taught the children about how to cross the road the right way, what different roadsigns mean, and much more.

“It’s already become an annual tradition for Maxim E-hailing, because we also held such a program for orphans last year. Sharing kindness and helping those in need are among the most important values of our service. The smiles on the kids’ faces were a great motivation for us to improve and work harder in the future, so that we can deliver them the essential items every year. This year, more participants from each city in Malaysia took part in this Independence Day celebration than last time, and we’re aiming for even bigger numbers in the future,” said the Director of Maxim Malaysia, Mohd Hazwan Musley.

Meanwhile, one of the representatives of Ahsana Kuala Lumpur stated that they were happy to support Maxim in implementing positive programs for the community.

“Children are our future. We need to take care of their rights, like the one for education, and give them support in terms of their needs and emotions. I appreciate today’s program initiative from Maxim, as it will help to increase the children’s knowledge and bring smiles to their faces at the same time. The program was so great and everyone enjoyed it, especially since it was conducted on Independence Day,” said Miss Ana, head of Ahsana Kuala Lumpur.

Furthermore, Maxim E-hailing partner-drivers also joined the Merdeka Parade 2024 with flags of Malaysia that they had gotten for free from the management in Kuantan, Taiping, Tawau, and Sandakan. It raised the spirit of independence, at the same time creating memorable moments for members of the Maxim community.

This activity has become the tradition for the company, because it is useful for the society and people in need.
