Malaysia’s favourite home improvement retailer is rolling out over 90 special Chinese New Year items at selected stores nationwide, with a further 120 hardware, household essentials, and F&B products at discounts up to 20 per cent off all under the banner of its “Wo Ai Ni [I Love You]” Chinese New Year initiative.
Commenting on the initiative, MR D.I.Y. Group’s Head of Marketing, Alex Goh, said, “The Lunar New Year is all about bringing family and loved ones together. MR D.I.Y’s aim is to make these reunions extra special by injecting a spirit of ‘Ai [Love]’ into the festivities through our ‘Wo Ai Ni’ initiative.

Goh also announced that in keeping with recent tradition, MR D.I.Y would be premiering its CNY webfilm, titled “Wo Ai Ni” soon.
The ‘Wo Ai Ni’ product range includes hair accessories such as claw clips, hair clips, and hair ties, along with several unique festive-themed earrings. To ensure customers’ homes are beautifully decorated this Dragon Year, the retailer is showcasing an abundance of Chinese New Year wall decor and banner sets, hanging decorations, LED lights, window stickers, flowers, cushions, floor mats, as well as tissue boxes. Guaranteed to catch the attention of shoppers are the pair of 80cm lanterns for only RM88, perfect for the home entrance. Additionally, there are gift bags, boxes, and Chinese New Year dragon-themed red packets to celebrate the spirit of giving.
Customers who spend a minimum of RM40 at MR. D.I.Y. and MR. TOY, or RM30 at MR. DOLLAR stores nationwide will receive four complimentary limited edition red packets, adding an extra touch of prosperity to the holiday season.
