Are you ready for a night to remember? This October, IKEA Malaysia is rolling out the welcome mat for the exclusive sleepover event like no other and offering a lucky few the chance to legitimately spend the night in-store. The IKEA Sleepover is open for IKEA Family Members only, and will be held simultaneously at IKEA stores in Damansara, Cheras, Tebrau, and Batu Kawan on 19 October 2023.
The IKEA Sleepover aims to showcase the importance of quality sleep for a healthy and happy life, in a creative and experiential way. By opening its doors to customers and allowing them to experience IKEA bedroom solutions firsthand, IKEA hopes to provide customers with a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience, in line with its commitment to making life at home better for the many people.
Through this event, a limited number of IKEA Family members will not only get to sleep under cosy IKEA covers, they will also enjoy a slumber party filled with a variety of night-themed activities, performances, and workshops. In addition, each IKEA store will host a unique main event where participants will either get to meet popular local celebrities as part of a talk show, witness a live podcast recording, sand art performance, and more.
To kickstart the IKEA Sleepover, opening performances will also be happening at each store. All Malaysians are invited to join the pre-event party featuring local acts such as Alena Murang at IKEA Damansara, The Venopian Solitude at IKEA Cheras, Babychair at IKEA Tebrau on the same day starting at 8:30PM, and Capt’n Trips and The Kid at IKEA Batu Kawan at 9:30PM. The pre-event is open to the public, so don’t forget to head on over to your local IKEA store this 19 October!
