Hong Kong Shines on the Global Stage as World’s Best Bar 2025 Title Goes to Local Favourite Bar Leone

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 October 2025 — Hong Kong’s cocktail scene has taken the spotlight once again, as local favourite Bar Leone clinched the top spot on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list. The global awards ceremony, held for the first time in Hong Kong at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, gathered more than 2,000 of the world’s leading bartenders, mixologists and hospitality professionals for a week-long celebration of cocktail excellence.

Bar Leone’s win underscores the city’s growing influence in the global bar industry and shines a light on Hong Kong’s creative and ever-evolving nightlife scene. Several other local bars also made it to this year’s prestigious list, including COA (No. 38), ARGO (No. 56), GOKAN (No. 70, new entry) and The Savory Project (No. 86) — showcasing the depth and diversity of Hong Kong’s cocktail culture.

The return of The World’s 50 Best Bars to Hong Kong marks a milestone moment for the city and celebrated under a three-year partnership between the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and 50 Best, further solidifying Hong Kong’s position as a global destination for gastronomy, cocktails and hospitality.

Lorenzo Antinori, owner of Bar Leone, said: “To be named the number one bar in the world is not only an incredible honour for us at Bar Leone, but also a truly proud moment for Hong Kong.
