Kuala Lumpur, 17 October 2025 – The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, one of Asia’s most anticipated culinary celebrations, is back in full swing from 23 to 26 October 2025 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and co-organised by the Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB), this year’s four-day festival invites Malaysians to rediscover Hong Kong through its most irresistible combination of world-class food, fine wines and vibrant nightlife by the city’s iconic Victoria Harbour.
With Hong Kong’s dazzling skyline as the backdrop, the festival will feature around 300 booths, with 70% dedicated to wine and 30% to gourmet food. Visitors can look forward to a mouthwatering showcase from 31 countries and regions, featuring renowned pavilions from Bordeaux (France), the United Kingdom, Spain, China and Japan, as well as exciting new additions such as the United States, Italy, Czech Replublic, Belgium, Norway, Austria, Mexico, and Poland.
This year’s theme, “REMIX. BEST OF ALL WORLDS,” celebrates Hong Kong’s vibrant food scene where East meets West and tradition meets innovation. It is a theme that Malaysians will easily relate to, reflecting a shared passion for diverse flavours and creative dining experiences.
Dr Peter Lam, Chairman of the HKTB, remarked: “I am delighted to see the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, our annual flagship event, return with an even more star-studded lineup this year. With the celebrated return of signature experiences such as the BEA Grand Wine Pavilion and the Tasting Room, we are introducing an even greater collection of fine vintages from Bordeaux’s 1855 classified growths. The Festival is also hosting renowned international Michelin-starred chefs to create their gourmet masterpieces on-site. This year’s theme, ‘REMIX. BEST OF ALL WORLDS’, reflects our mission to source the finest wines and cuisines from across the globe, presenting them in combinations that create an unparalleled tasting experience. I would like to thank our many partners and sponsors, whose collaboration is instrumental in bringing this annual international event to both locals and visitors. This also serves as a testament to the Festival’s role as an exceptional platform for promoting fine wine and food, and for driving new business opportunities.”
Sip the World’s Finest and Discover New Pairings
Wine lovers can look forward to the BEA Grand Wine Pavilion, which returns with an impressive lineup curated by acclaimed wine critic James Suckling. The showcase features more than 100 top-rated Old and New World wines, including Bordeaux’s legendary First Growths such as Lafite, Latour, Margaux, Haut-Brion and Mouton, along with Grand Cru treasures from Burgundy. Visitors can also explore global icons including Spain’s Vega Sicilia, Italy’s Biondi-Santi, the 100-point Colgin IX Estate from the United States, and Lafite’s Chinese label, Domaine de Long Dai. For spirits enthusiasts, the Pavilion will also feature rare offerings such as a 56-year-old single malt whisky and Kweichow Moutai, creating a truly world-class tasting experience.
Adding an element of fun, the Pairing Exploration experience invites visitors to play with flavour by combining five taste profiles (sweet, sour, spicy, salty and umami) with five grape varieties (Merlot, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc). It is a hands-on way to discover new food and wine pairings while learning more about the art of balance and taste.
A Gourmet Gathering Like No Other
Another festival highlight, the Tasting Room, will feature an exclusive 10-hand collaborative dinner titled “Taste the Extraordinary: Beyond Cantonese Flavour”. This special dining experience brings together five award-winning chefs from across the globe: Cheung Yat-fung, the three-Michelin-star Chiu Chow master from Beijing; Andrew Wong, the London-based chef behind the two-Michelin-starred A. Wong; Ji-sun Jung, Korea’s “Queen of Dim Sum”; Jayson Tang, one of Hong Kong’s youngest Michelin-starred Cantonese chefs; and Menex Cheung, known for his bold Chinese fusion creations. Together, they will reimagine Cantonese cuisine with creative flair, blending heritage, artistry and innovation.
Making its impressive debut, Towngas Gourmet Avenue, brings together 12 of Hong Kong’s most acclaimed restaurants. The star-studded culinary tour features a collection of 13 Michelin stars and 7 Black Pearl diamonds, offering participants an unprecedented opportunity to sample the city’s most celebrated cuisine in a single location.
A perennial favourite, the “Hotel Delicious” zone returns with its most comprehensive ever offering, features 11 of Hong Kong’s premier hotels and provide food lovers with a unique opportunity to experience the best of the city’s hotel dining scene in one place.
