Zebra Technologies Corporation says Ninja Van Malaysia has modernized its fulfilment operations with Zebra’s warehousing solutions, as the logistics provider scales to serve both e-commerce and B2B clients across the country. Founded with the ambition of connecting Southeast Asia through hassle-free delivery, Ninja Van Malaysia now serves nearly 25 million recipients nationwide.

According to the company, growing order volumes, increasingly diverse client requirements and time-critical dispatch schedules created the need for more agile and automated warehouse workflows that could keep pace without peak-period lag.

Warehouse management and frontline tools

To consolidate workflows, Ninja Van Malaysia implemented the cloud-native AC2 WAVE Warehouse Management System in partnership with Zebra PartnerConnect independent software vendor AC2 WAVE. On the warehouse floor, the company also deployed Zebra’s TC2 series mobile computers to give workers mobile access to the WMS, along with Zebra’s ZD200 series desktop printers for labelling at packing stations.

The integrated setup is designed to connect frontline tasks from picking through to final dispatch. Workers use the TC2 devices for real-time guidance on inventory locations, while the ZD200 printers generate parcel labels using thermal transfer and direct thermal technology to support accurate routing.

“With faster scanning and a system that keeps everything flowing seamlessly, our operations are now smoother, more efficient, and truly exceptional. Instead of waiting for the system to catch up, things just move.”

Zebra says the combined deployment has driven a noticeable improvement in operational speed and accuracy. Operators are now handling 30 to 60 scans per minute, effectively doubling previous scanning speeds as they process individual items across thousands of daily orders. The company adds that the reliability of the ZD200 printers has also helped ensure labels remain legible throughout the delivery journey, contributing to the near elimination of customer complaints related to missed or delayed deliveries.

“Malaysia’s rapidly growing digital economy places immense pressure on logistics providers to deliver with unprecedented speed and accuracy. Ninja Van Malaysia’s success is a powerful example of how equipping a connected frontline with the right technology can drive significant operational modernization.”
