Ryt Bank Gives a Fresh Feel for Raya with Music Video & Unlimited Duit Raya Referrals

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 March 2026 – Riding on the overwhelming success of its recent Chinese New Year campaign, where more than 500,000 digital Angpows were given out to Malaysians nationwide, Ryt Bank, The World’s First AI-Powered Bank, is now bringing an even bigger festive celebration this Ramadan and Hari Raya.

Building on the strong momentum from CNY, Ryt Bank is introducing a larger-scale Duit Raya referral initiative, where both referrers and new customers receive digital Duit Raya worth up to RM99 per successful sign-up — higher than the RM88 offered during Chinese New Year. The campaign’s strong traction is also reflected in the digital bank’s growing adoption. On 22 February 2026, the Ryt Bank app reached number one on the Top Free Apps charts in Malaysia on both Apple’s App Store and Google Play, highlighting strong interest in its AI-powered banking platform.

Raya Rewards for Both Users

For Raya, the bank is scaling up the spirit of giving even further, making festive rewards more generous and more shareable. The Duit Raya referral rewards are fully funded by Ryt Bank, with no limit to the number of referrals customers can make during the campaign period.

Rather than a one-time welcome reward, the initiative is designed to mirror the true spirit of Raya — open sharing among family and friends. Customers can share their personal referral code via the Ryt Bank app. Once the referee successfully activates their account, both parties will receive their Duit Raya.

“We’ve seen incredible response during Chinese New Year, with over half a million digital Angpows shared among Malaysians. It showed us that people genuinely enjoy celebrating and sharing digitally,” said Irene Cheah, Chief Marketing Officer of Ryt Bank.

“For Raya, we’re taking that momentum even further. We want this to feel like real festive giving — open, generous and inclusive — not just another sign-up campaign. By rewarding both sides and removing limits, it becomes a true celebration,” she added.

Supporting Local Artistes with Festive Collaboration

Following the success of its CNY music video featuring emerging Malaysian artistes Faiq Syazwan Kuhiri, lead singer of Terrer, and Dennis Koit Jun Leong from Kelantan, Ryt Bank is now launching a Hari Raya music video performed by the same duo.

The collaboration blends different musical influences into a light-hearted, contemporary Hari Raya track that reflects how Malaysians celebrate across cultures. It continues the bank’s commitment to supporting local creative talents while producing festive content that resonates with younger audiences.

“In the spirit of innovation, we did a fun cultural switch — Faiq led the CNY song, while Dennis leads the Raya track. As a Malaysian digital bank built for Malaysians, it is important our festive initiatives feel authentic and relatable. This collaboration showcases the diversity and creativity that make our celebrations uniquely Malaysian,” added Cheah.

Banking Done “Ryt”

Alongside its Hari Raya initiatives, Ryt Bank has extended its savings bonus interest campaign until 30 June 2026. Customers can earn returns of up to 4% per annum, calculated daily, with no lock-in period and full flexibility to withdraw funds at any time.

In conjunction with the festive season, Ryt Bank is also introducing a Ryt PayLater cashback reward. Customers who activated their Ryt Bank account or applied for Ryt PayLater from 6th March onwards will be eligible to receive 1.2% cashback on Ryt PayLater QR payments, capped at RM5 per user, during the campaign period.

These initiatives reflect Ryt Bank’s broader commitment to delivering practical rewards, meaningful festive experiences, and simple digital banking built around everyday Malaysian needs.
